Watch the Transformation
Transforming a 1963 Divco vintage Milk Truck into our very own Ice Cream & Gelato Food Truck
We are working with local mechanics and federators of classic automobiles and food trucks to restore and build the ice cream and gelato truck of our dreams. We have been in business for 8 years as of April 2026 and have served in the community's local events and weddings. The vintage milk truck will be equipped to server not only ice cream and gelato but more of our full menu: Milk Shakes, Ice Cream Sandwiches, Affogatos, etc.. a full serving kitchen.
The milk truck started.. ah, well, at least ended-up, in a farm yard in Western Nebraska.
Little rough under the hood you might say, well.. everywhere else as well:-)

Picking the Milk Truck up in Cheyenne, WY: November 21st., 2025
The milk truck, was locally owned and restored to it's current beauty by a great guy form Cheyenne, used locally in events for children and car shows as far as Windsor, CO.
Only 209 miles home to Castle Rock, CO

Bringing the truck Home From Cheyenne
Denver traffic enticed us to stop at a favorite craft coffee shop for some brew. (we are coffee snobs now, first ice cream, now coffee.. what's next?)
It took more time to get home from the coffee break (20 miles), than from Cheyenne to the coffee shop (89 miles).. Ummm, this is why we live in Castle Rock and not Denver.

Demo: November 26th., 2025
The Milk Truck goes into the fabricators'' December 1st., 2025 to become the prettiest Ice Cream and Gelato Food Truck ever...
Stay tuned!
It is a lot of fun! It takes me back to my youth when I drove my Dad's 1964 Ford Fairlane, and my first car a 1975 baby blue Chevy Malibu Classic... they don't make them like they used to:-(
P.S. I am a much safer driver now, than, then.

Same day as above but more progress!
The serving window is cut out and the 4 and a half foot black/white striped canvas electric awning is installed. We are going to drape stringed patio lights under the awning when serving, just like we do with our mobile catering cart that has the same black/white striped canvas material canopy.
Next week the stainless steel walls with the lighting fixtures will be going up. The following week, the appliances with custom shelving will begin being constructed and installed.
On Schedule, Stay Tuned :-)

The following week will see finishing modifications, the truck cab undergoing some repair, and a 360 degree commercial truck camera system installation that will complete the project.
We have scheduled a classic automobile painting company "Classic Touch" out of Denver for the 15th of March. Gail is working with our wonderful graphic design artist creating a beautiful outside graphic design for the truck. See their work at: Prettiest Ice Cream Shop Ever
While this has all been going on, I have contacted 41 venues for truck events with 24 confirmation, together with the permits and licensing completed.
